During the Made by Google event, when the Pixel 8 and Pixel Watch 2 hardware were unveiled, Google also announced the launch of Assistant with Bard, which would employ generative AI to provide customers with personalized advice. According to the company, the new AI-enhanced assistant can help you plan your next vacation, retrieve details in your email inbox, and even generate a grocery list.

Assistant with Bard, like Bard on the web, will interact with some of the company's existing apps, such as Gmail and Docs, to assist you in finding and summarizing content. Furthermore, you can communicate with the tool via text, speech, or photos, and it will maintain some of Assistant's essential capabilities, such as the ability to send a text message.
